{movement}
/ˈmuːvmənt/
[1] Continuous change is the one constant. When we meet movement with presence and curiousity we follow it to where it wants to go.
[2] A subtle shift in awareness that becomes visible as breath, sensation, sound or gesture.
[3] Conscious flow of lifeforce energy moving through the body.
During the retreat we dance, move and practice yoga in ways that invite awareness rather than achievement. Movement becomes a laboratory where you can sense how you organise yourself.
Through guided somatic explorations you discover new pathways of ease. Small shifts in posture, breath and attention can change how you experience pain, effort and support. You begin to feel that your body is a living field of intelligence that responds the moment you listen.
Movement is born from stillness.
We will practice slow motion activities, so you can learn to stay present. When movement slows down, sensation becomes clearer. You learn how to choose softness instead of strain, curiosity instead of pushing through. In this way movement turns into embodied understanding of consciousness. Each gesture becomes a way of meeting yourself with more truth, more coherence and more kindness.
